PORTICA presents B2B add-on functions for OXID
Freiburg / Kempen. “Functions that make the difference – B2B from PORTICA”. This is the motto with which PORTICA will introduce itself at the OXID Commons e-commerce trade show and conference on the 22nd of May in Freiburg. The company will present some of its specialist features for the PORTICA shop, based on the e-commerce platform OXID Enterprise Edition. These features, which complement OXID’s already extensive range of standard functions, were developed specially for digital business-to-business sales.
“The background here is that B2B business accounts for a large proportion of the e-commerce market, that it holds enormous potential, and that the demand for solutions is constantly rising”, explained Marie Driesser, Project Manager Professional Services at PORTICA, adding, “That’s why we will be presenting some of our most interesting functions at this year’s OXID network event. These functions expand this e-commerce solution to meet the specific needs of B2B customers. We have developed this tool over the course of several years to meet the challenges that businesses working in B2B commerce face.”
The “project accounts” function, for example, makes it possible to clearly represent a range of different budget models using a single tool. With the proxy function, selected employees can register as super-administrators within the system to place orders on behalf of other colleagues – while the whole process remains completely transparent and all accounts are correctly charged. PORTICA will also present its quick-order form, as well as quota management and order limit functions.
Visitors will be able to learn everything they need to know at the trade show stand and in an additional specialist presentation. On the main stage, PORTICA project managers Marie Driesser and Jasmin Gerhardt will present the company’s solutions and demonstrate their usage. They will also explain how these functions help design processes easily and efficiently, represent workflows and guidelines properly, and save time and money as well.
