Karlsbad. The Across Translator Edition is the next generation of the Across Personal Edition, which it replaces starting from Across version 6.3. In close collaboration with its Translators' Advisory Board, Across Systems GmbH has introduced many new functions and optimized the translation environment. The Basic and Premium Editions of the new version for freelance translators are available in a bundle that includes a crossMarket account.
In the Across Translator Premium Edition, translators can now use their own translation memories and terminology lists even when connecting to the Across Language Server of one of their customers. In this way, translation tasks can be processed even more efficiently, while keeping the text consistency under control. Many other improvements that are based on the direct dialog with the Across Translators' Advisory Board have been implemented in the Across Translator Edition. For example, it is now possible to filter and sort paragraphs, which facilitates the systematic processing of the text sections. Version 6.3 also supports additional file formats, such as PDF and JSON.

The new Across Translator Edition is more than a mere CAT tool. The bundle always contains a basic or premium crossMarket membership. crossMarket is the new online network for all Across users and is designed to assist translators in enhancing their market positioning with their Across expertise, thereby benefiting to a greater degree from the work with Across.
